GOOD TO KNOW

A few useful answers.

Does it handle daylight saving?

Yes, using the selected date and the IANA rules available in your browser. If a clock change repeats a local time, choose which occurrence you mean.

Why use America/New_York instead of EST?

A named time zone contains date-specific rules. Short abbreviations can be ambiguous and may imply a fixed offset.

Does downloading the calendar file send invitations?

No. It downloads an .ics file that you can open in your calendar. You decide whether to save it and invite anyone.
